    Ruth Cotter

    AMD Technologies

    Ruth Cotter is AMD’s senior vice president and chief administrative officer, leading the company’s Corporate Operations Group across marketing, communications, human resources, corporate security and information technology. With more than 30 years of experience, she has helped guide AMD’s growth through strategic planning, policy, and operational execution.

    Under her leadership, AMD expanded brand awareness through the “Together We Advance” campaign, strengthened executive thought leadership, and increased employee engagement across more than 30,000 employees. She also plays a key role in supporting major company integration efforts and previously helped oversee the Xilinx acquisition, one of the largest semiconductor transactions of its time. She is also recognized for leadership in diversity, communications, and the semiconductor industry – serving on the Board of Directors of the Ireland Funds, Global Semiconductor Alliance Women’s Leadership Council and the National Academies Committee on Women in Science, Engineering, and Medicine.

  • Richard Casey

    Richard Casey

    Global Semiconductor Projects

    Richard Casey is a 30 year veteran of the Semiconductor industry. After spending the first half of his career working as a Semiconductor engineer and department manager for Intel, Richard transitioned to the role of constructing Semiconductor fabs with DPS engineering and then Arcadis. Richard has a dual passion of working on semiconductor construction projects and improving construction productivity.

    This combination drove him to develop www.globalsemiconductorprojects.com and to becoming a director of Silicon Isle & of Lean construction Ireland. Richard now works directly with governmental bodies and companies on the development and implementation of their strategic plans to facilitate growth in the semiconductor, high tech, construction, facilities and manufacturing sectors.

  • Minister

    Minister Peter Burke

    Department of Enterprise, Tourism & Employment

    Peter Burke is Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment. He previously served as Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Minister of State for European Affairs and Defence, and Minister of State for Local Government and Planning.

    Before being appointed to the government, Peter sat on the Oireachtas Finance and Public Accounts Committees and has been a frequent media commentator on tax and financial issues.

    He was born in Mullingar, Ireland and attended National University of Ireland, Galway where he studied Commerce. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession with ten years’ experience in the private sector. Peter served as a Councillor on Westmeath County Council from 2007 until he was elected to the Dáil in 2016. He is married to Olivia and they have two young sons, Leo and Ted.

    As a Senior Business Development Advisor at Enterprise Ireland, Valerie has been supporting Irish businesses in the High-Tech Construction sector for over 12 years.

    Enterprise Ireland is the national agency for innovation and internationalization of Irish businesses, and I am proud to be part of its mission to make a positive impact on the economy and society.

    Valerie has a master's degree in HR Strategies and over 24 years of experience in business development and human resource development. My core competencies include business planning, growth strategies, sales and marketing, and HR development. I provide tailored advice, funding, and market access opportunities to help my clients achieve their goals and overcome their challenges.

    Valerie also collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, such as industry experts, research institutes, and government agencies, to foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the Irish business ecosystem. Valerie enjoy’s working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where she can learn from and contribute to the success of my team and organization.

  • Anne-marie (Tierney) Tierney-Le Roux

    Anne-Marie has 24 years’ experience in the global investment environment with IDA Ireland, working across several key roles in Ireland and abroad, positioning Ireland for high impact investments, with a specific interest in enterprise technology, semiconductors and cyber.   

    Anne-Marie took up her current position as Senior VP, Enterprise Technology in October 2021, and works with existing Technology companies to expand their mandates and operations in Ireland and is also responsible for attracting new Technology corporates to establish in Ireland.  Prior to this role, she held positions as Head of Department Regional Development, Director of Europe, based in Paris and Project Manager in the Technology Division. Prior to IDA Ireland, Anne-Marie worked in the Management Consultancy business of PricewaterhouseCoopers in London in the retail and CPG global industry sectors.   

    Anne-Marie is a Law graduate and holds an MSc in International Marketing, as well as an Associate Practitioner of the European Chartered Ins. of Marketing.

    He brings deep expertise in the execution of large, complex, multi‑site technology initiatives worldwide As the Project Technologist, Terry will guide the project’s technical vision—ensuring integration of advanced factory concepts, alignment of process and facility technologies, and the successful application of cutting‑edge speed-to-market manufacturing strategies.

    Terry is a highly accomplished consulting/engineering professional with over 30 years of experience in semiconductor, solar and automotive with extensive planning, facility design, equipment design and start-up experience of complex material handling and factory automation systems.

  • Brenda Barrett

    Brenda Barrett is a highly accomplished and successful semiconductor industry leader with more than 20 years of experience. She is responsible for strengthening end-to-end Supply Chain and Customer Supply Chain Management performance at Infineon globally, as well as improving delivery reliability, resilience, and execution excellence in a fast-moving, highly demanding environment.

    In Ireland, Brenda has played a pivotal role in scaling Infineon’s presence and capabilities, helping to position the site as a strategically important hub for Infineon’s global network. She is recognized for decisive, customer-focused leadership, translating strategy into measurable operational results, and building high-performing, inclusive teams.

    Infineon Technologies Ireland plays a vital role in the company's global Customer Supply Chain Management department. Strategically located in the heart of Dublin, the team of over 100 talented professionals, representing more than 27 nationalities, provides support to over 350 customer delivery locations across Europe and the world.

    Pat Kenny is an accomplished supply chain leader with a vast background in the semiconductor industry. Most recently joined Infineon as EMEA Head of Customer Supply Chain Management (CSM), leading end-to-end customer logistics across Europe. Pat is known for leading large-scale transformation and delivering measurable outcomes through disciplined execution, innovation, and clear stakeholder alignment.

    Based at Infineon Technologies Ireland, home to Infineon’s largest CSM team globally, he leads cross-country, multi-language operations and partners closely with commercial, planning, manufacturing, and distribution stakeholders to improve delivery performance, strengthen customer engagement, and embed operational excellence.

    Prior to Infineon, he spent 29 years at Intel, building a progressive career with a strong track record in supply chain leadership, people and supplier management, and managing multi-billion-dollar start-ups and production ramps. He is recognised as a collaborative leader who mentors and develops talent, and who builds resilient, high-performing teams.

    Paul is a strategic, people-focused senior leader with a strong record in project delivery, engineering and organisational leadership.

    Having spent more than 20 years with Bechtel, my project portfolio spans the energy sector (natural gas, LNG, carbon capture), water infrastructure (pipelines and desalination), semiconductor manufacturing facilities, and large-scale infrastructure master planning across multiple global locations, including Ireland, Germany, UK, USA, Chile and Saudi Arabia. With deep experience in integrated Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) megaprojects and a foundation in engineering leadership, I bring a unique blend of technical rigour, strategic foresight, and strong people skills to every challenge. Throughout my career, I’ve been recognised as a critical thinker who energises teams, challenges the status quo, and drives results through innovation and collaboration. I am known for my adaptability and ability to lead through ambiguity and change. I empower others, model accountability, and foster a culture of continuous learning. My leadership style includes a relentless focus on improvement through clear communication, customer focus, and problem-solving.

    Sinead Kinsella is a senior architectural leader with 20 years of experience delivering large‑scale semiconductor and infrastructure projects. She specialises in controlled‑environment design‑build programmes and leads global multi‑disciplinary teams across concept development, design, permitting, construction through to final handover.

    Based in Kildare Innovation Centre,  Sinead worked as Engineering Manager and CSA Lead for a number of global semiconductor projects, but in more recent times, A large confidential semiconductor client in Leixlip, overseeing more than 613,000 square feet of cleanrooms, utilities, support spaces, and off‑site manufacturing components. She is recognised for her expertise in fire engineering compliance, hazardous materials assessments, and code‑driven design, collaborating closely with industry specialists to ensure rigorous safety and quality standards across high‑hazard facilities.
